Our participation approach
- Encourage equal access to discipleship, music, arts, mentorship and leadership-development opportunities.
- Avoid assigning instruments, arts roles, leadership responsibilities or technical functions on the basis of gender stereotypes.
- Provide respectful and safe learning spaces, sanitation facilities and appropriate privacy.
- Use clear conduct standards addressing harassment, exploitation, bullying and discrimination.
- Ensure mentors maintain appropriate professional and ministry boundaries.
- Consider the needs of parents, caregivers and participants with family responsibilities when scheduling programmes where possible.
- Provide safeguarding and parental/guardian procedures for minors.
- Create fair pathways for women and men to perform, exhibit work, lead projects and serve in outreach.
Accessibility
As the campus develops, reasonable accessibility should be incorporated into entrances, circulation, seating, sanitation, communication and event planning so that disability does not unnecessarily exclude participation.
