The proposed Academy will include music and arts studio spaces that give learners practical opportunities to move from ideas and lessons into real creative work.
Music studio opportunities may include
- Songwriting sessions
- Composition and arrangement
- Rehearsal recording
- Vocal and instrumental recording
- Basic production and editing
- Mentored studio practice
- Collaborative student projects
- Portfolio and demo development where appropriate
Arts studio opportunities may include
- Supervised creative workspaces
- Project development
- Artwork preparation and finishing
- Display preparation
- Portfolio development
- Collaborative projects
- Photography or documentation of completed work under consent rules
- Mentor-led studio sessions
Studio access
Studio use should be scheduled, supervised where appropriate, and governed by equipment-care, safety, consent, copyright and safeguarding procedures. Public or commercial use should not displace the Academy’s charitable learning purpose.
