A key goal of the Academy is to give students practical opportunities to compose, write, arrange and record music rather than learning only in theory. Students can be guided through the creative process from idea development to rehearsal, refinement and recorded presentation.

Creative ownership
Students should understand who owns original songs and recordings, how collaboration credits are documented, when permission is needed, and how work may be shared. The Academy should not claim ownership of student work merely because a student used programme facilities unless a clear written agreement says otherwise.
